# Thread Error

### About the Error

This error is caused when Ticket Tool doesn't have the required permissions to manage threads

### Solutions

To solve this you can:

1. Check Ticket Tool's role permissions and make sure it has `Manage Threads` enabled
2. Confirm the thread parent channel you choose in your [Thread Style Settings](https://tickettool.xyz/dashboard/server_id/configs#pc-menu/pc-threadStyle) has no override blocking Ticket Tool

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.tickettool.xyz/beta-docs/debugging/errors/5169a266-f50c-11ed-a05b-0242ac120003.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
